MTBO 2025 Instructions
Everyone needs a smartphone that can read QR Codes
Plastic bag or map bag may be needed if muddy or wet, or just to keep paper/map organised
Everyone will be provided a map printout (also web page available with map https://baileyscentre.synology.me/mtbo/map.php )
Using Trailforks app is allowed
Checkpoints can be done in ANY ORDER
You only need to collect required total points for your category (not all checkpoints)
Please obey time limit, scanning checkpoints after finish time will not be allowed
At registration, you need to scan “Name Entry” QRCode, enter your name, nickname or team name then club (optional) and select category to enter
Any categories can be entered as a team or individual
One phone per team and ride together
Then wait for official start
At each checkpoint scan the QR Code and click link to webpage, checkpoint then automatically recorded and total shown
When it says return to finish, return quickly and scan “FINISH” QR Code to end.
MTBO 2025 Rules
This event is a fun event
Times will be collected though (only for bragging rights)
Follow trail directions (for safety and to enjoy trails as designed)
Slower riders have right of way
You must ride to the checkpoints (unless instructed otherwise)
Follow normal trail etiquette
Anyone moving or tampering with checkpoint markers will be disqualified
Do not share checkpoint numbers
Please assist anyone that needs help first
